Calling All Sopranos and Tenors: THE SILVER LAKE CHORUS is AUDITIONING!
Deadline to submit: Friday, July 19th.
In-person callbacks Monday, August 5th.
Here’s what we need from you:
1. RECORD a video of yourself singing two songs a cappella (about 16 bars per song, doesn’t have to be full production value, using your webcam or iPhone works great as long as we can hear you). Please keep our overall vibe in mind while making your song selections — think indie rock over classical or pop. Choral blending will be auditioned in callbacks. Please include a lil info about yourself and your musical background!
2. EMAIL your video either as an attachment (may not exceed 25 MB) or link (YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc.) to: tslcaudition@gmail.com.
3. In the subject line, write “Your Full Name – VOCAL PART” e.g. “Darth Vader – TENOR.”

IMPORTANT NOTE: We rehearse every Monday 8-10pm and steady attendance is a requirement. Please make sure you are regularly available Monday nights before sending in your audition video! We also perform on a semi-regular basis (an average of once a month), often on Friday and Saturday nights in and around LA. Your availability is key!
